Over the past week we have been at the Webb Family Reunion in Island Park, Idaho (that's near Yellow stone national park). It was a lot of fun. We arrived in Provo the Saturday before going to Idaho and spent the day playing with Ryan (Kurt's brother) and his family. We went to a place called Kangaroo Zoo, which had 12-15 blow-up slides. It was a ton of fun, the kids loved it.
Then Sunday after church the family all traveled up to a cabin in Island park. It was a lot of fun. Monday took the kids on a short walk along a creek, then planned on going down the river. Unfortunately there was a thunder storm and we didn't go down the river.
Tuesday we spent the day up in Yellow stone. We saw many buffalo, steaming geysers, and old faithful. Then that night we went to a play "Hello Dolly".
Wednesday we got to go down the river. It wasn't quiet as exciting as we might have thought. Part of the time we actually had to pull our raft because the water was so shallow. But it was nice to let the kids get out and play. The best thing was during our float down the river we noticed a moose laying in the grass right beside us. Then right next to us another moose jumped into the water 10 to 20 yards in front of us. He ran down stream splashing and playing right in front of us. It was so much fun to see, although we got nervous a few times when we thought he was too close and could possible charge us.
Then we all left either Wednesday night or Thursday morning. We drove to Rexburg where there was a small water park for the kids, they loved it. Then we traveled home. It was a great family reunion.
P.S. Happy 4th of July to everyone!
