After the Mall we headed over to the church for the trunk-or-treat.
Kurt wanted to pass out the candy so he could make sure to only give out the kinds he didn't like and save the good kinds for us! What a thinker!
Before the kids went trick-or-treating at the cars, they had several games and activities inside the gym. Here the kids are decorating cupcakes, but they also had bowling, ring toss, bean bag toss, decorate your own pumpkin, a cake walk, scary stories, mummy wrap, and snacks. It was a lot of fun, the kids just ran from one thing to the next trying to do it all. Daxton's favorite was the bowling.
Right before they were allowed to go outside to trunk-or-treat the kids gathered around to give the adults time to set up their trunks, then they were let loose. There were a lot of cars, but not a lot of children. So the kids got to go around to each car a couple of times. They had a great time! And Kurt was able to keep quiet a few good candies for us! Then, as is the tradition that Daxton has started, when we got home the kids lined up their candy for a picture.
Daxton had too many and it was taking too long to line up so I just made him spread it out on the floor.
Jade with her loot! (The pictures are just the trunk-or-treat they don't include the Mall or candy from school. For a five and four year old they came home with A LOT of candy!)
