Christmas

A few weeks ago we went up to the mountains to cut down our own Christmas trees. I didn't have my camera with me very much, but these are a few pictures that I was able to take.

Some beautiful scenery.Daxton was completely wore out from trying to walk around all day in waste deep snow.

Kurt cutting off the bottom of our tree so it would fit in our little house. :)
Daxton getting to put the star on the top of the tree.

Then Santa came to our ward Christmas party. The kids were very excited and got right in line. But of course as soon as they got to him they were too shy to talk to him. So we snapped a few pictures and got ready to go. But before we could leave Daxton told me that he was ready to tell Santa what he wanted. So we had to get back in line and wait another 15 min. just so Daxton could sit on Santa's lap again and tell him that he wanted Legos for Christmas. (yea, the first time he ever mentioned Legos) good thing we stayed in line. Santa may have never known about the Legos.

Those are some really pretty pictures. That is one thing that I really miss out here in the plains.
